Welcome to the DawsonLab. My research investigates physical and molecular factors that contribute to cancer progression in women. I lead a multidisciplinary research lab at the interface between cell biology, bioengineering, and medicine. Trainees learn to combine single cell biophysical analysis with molecular analysis of cell signaling pathways important in cancer. I hope this biophysical approach will lead to new treatment strategies.
